Clear commitments and integrity are part of project structuring. The following principles guide the preparation of each engagement.
No advantage to a public official
No payment, no gift, no advantage, direct or indirect, to a public official, to their circle or to a political party. No exception is provided for, whatever the file.
No intermediary outside a contract
Every intermediary is under contract, with its ultimate beneficial owner identified and its remuneration documented and proportionate to the work done. No cash, no payment to a third country, no commission whose purpose is not written down.
Documented identification before the Go
Counterparties, beneficial owners and source of funds are verified document by document before the commitment decision. A missing document suspends the file; a declaration does not replace it.
These rules extend to conflicts of interest, international sanctions, data protection, project-vehicle governance and country risk.
Responsibilities and decisions
The scope, responsibilities and decisions required are defined with the participants. Assessment helps establish the conditions for taking a project forward.
Conflicts of interest
Positions and interests that may affect an engagement must be disclosed and considered before the relevant commitment. Recusal rules and scope of involvement form part of the engagement framework.
Confidentiality and references
Documents and information are shared according to the needs of the engagement and the applicable agreements. Naming a partner or project as a reference must be agreed.
